Our Care Support Workers are recruited for their skills, knowledge and experience. Most importantly we recruit workers who have the right attitude and values towards giving care and support.

We currently have a growing Care Support Workers team working part time and full time hours. We have Care Support Workers that are available to work throughout the daytime, evening, weekends, waking nights and sleep ins and short term live-in respite services.

We carry out a thorough recruitment process for all workers.

We provide a comprehensive Induction followed by mandatory training such as moving people safely, safeguarding vulnerable adults, end of life care and medications. We encourage workers to develop their skills and knowledge and we will provide specialised training as necessary, including care certificate and QCF in care.

What We Also Provide

Training:  We will be providing QCF level 2 and 3 in care.

Mobile phone app: we will be providing free mobile phone apps for staff to use for time keeping and care plan outcomes.

Panic alarms: we will provide staff with personal safety alarms.

All working essentials provided: we will provide staff with uniforms, gloves, shoe protectors, hand gels, aprons, pens, ID Badges, fleeces, sweatshirts, Tunics, T Shirts, first aid kits.

DBS: we will check all staff DBS and ensure they are safe to work with service users.

Counselling: we provide a in-house free counselling service for our staff.

Weekly team foodle: We would hold a weekly team fuddle for all staff to get to know each other and relax and share best working practices.

Uniforms: we would provide all Olive Tree Care uniforms.

Travelling time: e would pay for any travel time from the staff homes to the service users home.

Mileage expenses: we would pay for any mileage and expenses used for staff to get to the service users.
